Velo is a slim, colourful WordPress theme. If you’re a creative mind Velo is what you need: a truly original choice for showcasing your artworks, pictures, videos, illustrations and for telling the world what you want with style, personality and balance.

Flexible.

Create as many home sections as you want and arrange them in a few clicks. You can also create “Cover” sections to provide a better navigation experience and “Stream” sections to display any existing Portfolio or Blog Article.

Responsive.

We have worked hard to provide a truly responsive layout. Our theme perfectly fits into any existing device, from 320px wide screens to up. Test it by yourself on your phone, tablet or doing the browser window resize-thing.

Retina-Ready.

If you own a notebook or a device supporting the “Retina” technology, you’ll enjoy a perfect visual experience thanks to Velo. Just test it!

Light and Fast.

Velo does not use a single image for its layout. That makes Velo really light and slim. Under 500kb uncompressed.

Colorpick’d.

The absence of images in Velo makes it 100% Colour Picker Powered, resulting in unlimited colour schemes. Every single section of your website can use a different Background Colour, all that through a simple Colour Picker.

Easy.

If you’re not really confident with Wordpress, you’ll find Velo really easy to use thanks to a new custom framework created for this purpose and to the detailed Documentation. This theme also makes use of the new features of WordPress 3.5, which makes creating a Lightbox Images Gallery or a Gallery Format quick and fun.

Fully Designed Post Formats.

Every Post and Portfolio Item Format has been designed with purpose and balance to provide not only a different layout but a different experience.

Infinite Portfolios.

Are you a Graphic Artist, a Videomaker or a Photographer? Well, Velo allows you to create as many Portfolios as you want and, eventually, to put into the Home as a Section.

Beautiful Typography.

It’s what makes Velo design unique and so pleasant to read on, together with CSS3 and javascript animations.

Polyglot.

Velo includes all it takes to be translated in another language. You will also find a quick tutorial in the included Documentation, just in case it’s your first time.

Quick Setup.

Like to start from a solid base? Velo includes Sample Data that will quickly setup your website into a fully sectioned installation.
